The Project
A harbour and tourist port in the centre of the Gulf of Squillace
Since the 1960s, the city of Catanzaro has been waiting for the completion of its port.
In the coming years, important work is planned to complete the port infrastructure in Catanzaro thanks to the financing project that is now in its final stages.
The interventions will allow the creation of all the equipped areas for the various port sectors in Catanzaro. There will be docks for yacht moorings, a dock for fishing boats, jetties for boats, a shipyard area, a fuel station and moorings for military units.

Currently, the Port of Catanzaro offers mooring services for pleasure yachts up to 20 metres as well as fishing and tourist boats.
Floating Pontoons
Berths for pleasure yachts within the Port of Catanzaro Marina are managed by the concessionaire company. The berths allow for the mooring of approximately 170 boats, as well as an area for the tourist transit of sailing and motor yachts.
Fishing Area
The port of Catanzaro is home to about ten vessels of the local fishing fleet. Currently, the berths intended for this sector are located near the breakwater and the root of the quay.
